SARAJEVO, Apr 4 (Hina) - At least eight 76-mm artillery projectiles
were fired at the UN-declared Bihac safe zone yesterday, the UN in
Sarajevo said today.
Four people, a Dutch UN Military Observer, his translator and
two Bosnian army liaison officers, were wounded when a shell struck
their vehicle.
All the projectiles were fired from Serb positions at Protocki
Grabez (S.W. of Bihac).
According to the UN spokesman in Sarajevo, the attack on the
UN vehicle was "direct and deliberate" as the UN-marked vehicle was
clearly visible from Serb positions.
The Valika Kladusa separation line between the Bosnian army
5th Corps and troops loyal to renegade Moslem leader Fikret Abdic,
was much quieter yesterday than in the past few days. The frontline
did not shift.
Bangladeshi peace-keepers distributed eight tonnes of food to
Bihac civilians.
