MOSTAR, March 26 (Hina/Habena) - The European Union Administration
of Mostar condemned an attack on Mostar yesterday, when a 15-year-
old girl was killed and more than 7 people were wounded. In a
statement the EU Administration described the attack as an
inexcusable assault on civilians' lives.
The attack did not have any military effect. Those responsible
for it brought shame upon themselves, according to the statement
carried by the Habena Herzeg-Bosnian news agency.
Martin Garrod, the head of the EU Mostar Administration
Headquarters, extended condolences on behalf of all EU
Administration officials to the family of the killed girl and
wishes for a quick recovery of the wounded in the attack.
After his visit to Zagreb where he discussed the future of
Mostar, Hans Koschnik, EU Administrator of Mostar, is to return to
the city. He was fully informed of the attack and expressed his
deep regret and anger because of the tragic event.
