SARAJEVO, April 1 (Hina) - UN monitors have reported 2951 armed
incidents in Sarajevo in the last 24 hours.
Despite the increased number of armed incidents, UNPROFOR
described the situation in the Bosnian capital as relatively
peaceful, as the incidents in question mainly consisted in the
exchange of small-arms fire.
There had been four attacks on UNPROFOR members, but without
serious consequences.
After a couple of day's lull, Serbs yesterday again launched
an attack on the Mt. Igman road.
UNPROFOR headquarters reported that Serbs fired at least 20
anti-aircraft missiles on the road from Ilidza, the part of
Sarajevo under their control.
Blockades have been removed for the Sarajevo-bound relief aid
convoy, said the UNHCR spokesman in Sarajevo, Kris Janowski.
