VITEZ, March 29 (Hina/HABENA) - Croatian Army chief of staff and
recently appointed head of joint Croatian and Bosnian armed
forces HQ, Gen. Janko Bobetko, today visited Vitez, Central
Bosnia. Bobetko was accompanied by Bosnian Croat forces (HVO)
chief of staff, Gen. Tihomir Blaskic.
Prior to Vitez, Bobetko had also visited Travnik, where he
had met Bosnian Army chief of staff Gen. Rasim Delic and 7th
Corps commander, Gen. Mehmed Alagic.
"We had official talks on most recent situation at the
Bosnian frontlines, having verified further cooperation between
Croatian Army, Bosnian Army, and HVO", Bobetko said.
He added that the "Bosnian Army 7th Corps has been assigned
a tough task against the Serb aggressor, carrying it out with
remarkable self-confidence".
