"CROATIAN DAYS ON THE HILL" OPEN IN WASHINGTON

WASHINGTON, March 27 (Hina) - "Croatian Days on the Hill", a national annual conference of American Croatian lobbyists, began in Washington on Sunday afternoon. As part of the conference lobbyists were to arrange meetings with about 90 congressmen and their assistants, as well as with US executive authorities. The president of the Croatian-American lobby, Frank Brozovich, said the aim of 'Days on the Hill' was to present Croatian decisions and political moves in the United States in their best light. Representatives of the Croatian community were scheduled to meet Croatian Parliament speaker Nedjeljko Mihanovic who had been invited by the Croatian American congress to visit the United States.
