ZAGREB, March 28 (Hina) - Croatian deputy prime minister Ivica
Kostovic this afternoon met Bengt Lindquist, UN special
rapporteur on the rights of disabled persons.
Lindquist arrived in Zagreb to take part in a World Health
Organization-sponsored seminar on UN regulations regarding the
rights of disabled persons.
"The Government urged its ministries to take part in the
seminar in order to be properly informed on standard regulations.
Though we can't apply all of them immediately, for financial
reasons, we would certainly attempt to meet them as soon as
possible", Kostovic said after the talks.
The talks were also attended by a WHO representative Bengt
Lagerquist, who has been in charge of a project of rehabilitation
of war victims in Croatia for the past two years.
