CRO UPPER HOUSE OPPOSITION ASKS FOR DISCUSSION ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT

GOVERNMENT $ LAW ZAGREB, Nov 19 (Hina) - The participation of opposition representatives at the Croatian Parliament House of Counties which was called for next week, depends on whether the agenda will contain a discussion on problems in the implementation of the Law on local government and self-government, and as part of it, the Zagreb crisis, representatives of the opposition said on Tuesday. Speaking at a news conference, they explained that this suggestion did not mean that the opposition of the Upper House rejected the views of opposition parties on leaving the Parliament till 13 December.
