ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Opposition deputies to the Zagreb City
Council will continue a boycot of council sessions for 30 days,
Dorica Nikolic of the Croatian Social Liberal Party said on Friday.
Nikolic told a news conference that the opposition demanded
that a discussion on the Zagreb government crisis be put on the
agenda of the lower house of parliament within that period.
If the issue is not discussed in parliament within the next 30
days, opposition councillors will resign, Nikolic stressed.
However, the Zagreb County Council would hold a session to
take a vote of confidence in County Council president Zdravko Tomac
of the Social Democratic Party.
