SARAJEVO, Sept 18 (Hina) - The counting of votes for the Presidency
of Bosnia-Herzegovina ended on Wednesday morning, spokeswoman for
the Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in
Europe (OSCE) Agota Cuperman said in Sarajevo around 11 a.m.,
adding that still to be counted were votes from Bosanski Petrovac,
Prijedor and Bosanska Dubica in Republika Srpska, and Velika
Kladusa and Travnik in the Bosnian Federation.
According to data, Party of Democratic Action candidate Alija
Izetbegovic received 699,586 votes, while Haris Silajdzic received
121,253 votes.
Kresimir Zubak leads the Croat candidates list with 331,133
votes.
In the Serb entity, Momcilo Krajisnik is leading with 631,767
votes, while his rival Mladen Ivanic received 282,985 votes.
According to data, the electoral turnout is 2,106,000 out of
2.9 million expected voters, i.e. some 70 per cent.
There were 3.73 per cent spoilt votes in the Bosnian
Federation and 6.95 per cent in the Serb entity.
The final results for the Presidency of BH will be announced
by the leader of the OSCE Mission Robert Frowick early today
afternoon.
