SARAJEVO, 17 Sept (Hina) - Kresimir Zubak, Alija Izetbegovic and
Momcilo Krajisnik are still leading on the list for the three-
member presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, according to temporary
election results publicized by the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Sarajevo around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The temporary election results are based on the election
material counted by the election commissions in 43 municipalities
in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In 26 municipalities of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Kresimir Zubak (candidate of the Croatian Democratic Union in
Bosnia-Herzegovina) has won 88,72% of votes, while the candidate of
the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Alija Izetbegovic, has won
81,81% of votes.
Ivo Komsic, candidate of the Croatian Peasants' Party on the
Joint List of Bosnia-Herzegovina, has won 10,21% of votes, while
the candidate of the Party for Bosnia-Herzegovina, Haris Silajdzic
has won 14,52% of votes.
The Serb candidate for the Bosnian presidency and candidate of
the Serb Democratic Party (SDS), Momcilo Krajisnik is leading in 17
municipalities of Republika Srpska with 78,08% of votes, while
Mladen Ivanic of the Republika Srpska Democratic Patriotic Bloc has
won 19,69% of votes.
Official results of the Provisional Election Commission will
be publicized after it has been confirmed that the elections were
correct.
