ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Hina) - The police administration of the Lika-Senj
County on Thursday filed criminal charges with the County's state
attorney's office as part of actions undertaken to shed light on the
disappearance of several persons of Serb nationality in 1991 and
1992.
According to a statement of the Croatian Ministry of Interior
Affairs, the charges refer to persons of Serb nationality who
disappeared from the Karlobag area, northern Adriatic, under
dubious circumstances.
Seven of these persons have been identified so far.
The county's police administration will continue to shed light on
other cases from 1991 and 1992 about which different statements
were made in the media.
