ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Interior ministry delegations of Croatia and
Turkey on Saturday held a meeting in Zagreb following an agreement
on cooperation between the two governments in fighting illegal
international narcotics trade, the Croatian interior ministry said
in a statement.
The two delegations held talks on cooperation achieved to date, and
agreed on further cooperation in the exchange of data related to
fighting international terrorism, smuggling and abuse of
narcotics, radioactive substances and organized crime.
They also agreed to develop possibilities for training criminal
officials.
The Croatian delegation was headed by the interior minister's
assistant for criminal police, Zeljko Sacic, while the Turkish
delegation was headed by deputy director for public order Halil
Tug.
