OSIJEK, Dec 15 (Hina) - Osijek Mayor Zlatko Kramaric on Monday
received Patricia van Nispen, head of the project "Post-War
Rehabilitation of Persons with Mental Disorders in the Croatian
Danube River Region."
The project, to start January 1, should be financed by the European
Union and the Dutch government, and implemented by the Psychiatric
Clinic in Osijek and the Association for Psychological Assistance
"Sunce".
According to van Nispen, the aim of the project is to support
reintegration processes in eastern Croatia, especially the return
of displaced persons and their reintegration into society.
The project, to be carried out by psychiatrists, psychologists and
social workers, will be implemented in Ilok, Batina, Darda, Erdut
and Tenja, said Nikola Mandic, head of the Osijek Psychiatric
Clinic.
Funds have been ensured for one year of activity, he said, adding
there is a possibility for the project to last even longer.
Osijek Mayor Kramaric said the project was significant for the
