ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Defense Minister Lt. Gen.
Kresimir Cosic on Thursday received the incoming Greek military
attache, Brigadier Harambos Giraleas.
"Greece is a member of NATO, and it is perfectly understandable and
logical that Croatia, and its defense ministry, has a special
interest in improving bilateral military cooperation", Cosic told
reporters after the meeting. The common goal of that cooperation
was the "strengthening of security and stability in the areas we
live in", he added.
The Greek military attache said there were many areas to improve
military cooperation between Croatia and Greece, adding he himself
would do everything to help this cooperation reach a high level.
Today, Giraleas was also received by the Croatian Army chief of
staff, Lt. Gen. Pavao Miljavac.
