ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - The Croatian Army headquarters chief-of-
staff, Lieutenant General Pavao Miljavac, on Wednesday received the
Belgian government special envoy for UNTAES, Thierry de Gruben, and
his associates, Croatian Defence Ministry said in a statement.
Gen. Miljavac and the Belgian delegation talked about the
process of peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area.
General Miljavac notified Belgian officials of the positive
course of the process.
Belgian officials were especially interested in the process of
demilitarization of the Croatian Danubian area and in possible
difficulties in the reintegration process.
The Croatian side assured them of Croatian Army's full
cooperativeness and support to General Klein and the mission of
UNTAES.
Gen. Miljavac thanked the Belgian envoy for a great
contribution of the Belgian battalion to the implementation of the
UNTAES mandate, the statement said.
