ZAGREB, Feb 26 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation, led by a Croatian
Vice Premier Ivica Kostovic, on Wednesday left for Brussels where
they would talk about the situation in the Croatian Danubian area
before the European Parliament committee for relations with
southeastern Europe, the Croatian Government public relations
office said.
UNTAES sources reported that the UN Transitional Administrator
of the Danubian area, General Jacques Klein, had travelled to
Brussels.
It has been also announced a local Serb representative, Branko
Jurisic, will be in the Belgian capital as well.
The Croatian delegation consisted of an assistant to the
Croatian Foreign Minister, Neven Madey, the Croatian government
temporary administration office head Ivica Vrkic, a representative
of the association of Croatian displaced persons, Croatian
Hungarian Ladislav Kocis, and a representative of the association
of families of missing and detained Croatian soldiers, Marija
Sestan.
The Croatian delegation travelled to Brussels at an invitation
of Doris Peck, a member of the European Parliament and the head of
the committee for relations with southeastern Europe.
Croatian representatives will return to the country on
Thursday, the government public relations office said.
