ZAGREB, 30 Jan (Hina) - A new group of Croatian Serbs who fled Croatia during the operations for the liberation of occupied Croatian territories in 1995, returned on Thursday to Croatia from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, stated
a representative of the U.N. High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Zagreb on Thursday.
ZAGREB, 30 Jan (Hina) - A new group of Croatian Serbs who fled
Croatia during the operations for the liberation of occupied
Croatian territories in 1995, returned on Thursday to Croatia
from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, stated a
representative of the U.N. High Commission for Refugees
(UNHCR) in Zagreb on Thursday. #L#
Forty-four Serbs arrived from Yugoslavia to Zagreb and
set out for their final destinations - Knin (southern Croatia)
and Karlovac (50 km south of Zagreb).
The group returned to Croatia within an UNHCR program of
family reunions. So far, 460 persons have been repatriated in
this way.
