SARAJEVO, Jan 21 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Council of Ministers
met in the Serb-held Sarajevo suburb of Lukavica on Tuesday to
discuss a dozen bills regulating the functioning of the central
government and the economic system.
Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic told reporters after the
meeting that the council named members of the working groups that
should prepare the final texts of the bills in the next few days.
The adoption of the bills, drafted by the office of
international peace coordinator Carl Bildt, was crucial for the
continuation of talks with the International Monetary Fund and the
holding of a donors' aid conference scheduled for March, Prlic
said.
Also in Lukavica, council co-chairmen Haris Silajdzic and Boro
Bosic and council vice president Neven Tomic met Louise Arbour, the
chief prosecutor of the international war crimes tribunal in The
Hague.
According to unofficial sources, they agreed that the Bosnian
Foreign Ministry would draw up a protocol on cooperation with the
tribunal that would take into account the fact that Bosnia-
Herzegovina now consisted of two entities.
