ALMOST 100 000 TOURISTS HOLIDAY ON NORTHERN ADRIATIC LAST WEEKEND

( Editorial: --> 0292 ) OPATIJA, July 28 (Hina) - A total of 99,955 tourists vacationed along the Kvarner riviera on Croatia's northern Adriatic last weekend, the Tourist Board of local Primorje-Gorski Kotar County said on Tuesday, pointing out this was two per cent more than in the same period last year. Foreigners accounted for 81.5 per cent of that figure. The most numerous were Germans, Slovenes and Austrians, followed by Italians and the Czech. The highest number of last weekend's vacationers were accommodated in camps, 34.5 per cent, and in private accommodation, 33 per cent, while 23 per cent stayed in hotels.
