CAVTAT, July 18 (Hina) - Croatian Tourism Minister Sergej Morsan on
Saturday opened Cavtat's reconstructed Hotel Albatros.
The hotel in the far southern Croatian town has a four-star rating
and 500-bed capacity through 270 rooms and 14 apartments. Other
facilities include nine tennis courts, a bowling green, indoor and
outdoor pools and fitness centre.
The reconstruction costing 62 million kuna (about US$10 million)
was financed through the Nova ljubljanska banka and the Croatian
Bank for Reconstruction and Development, while the works were done
by Slovenian firm Lesnina inzenjering.
As well as Minister Morsan, also present for the opening of this
important hotel facility in the Dubrovnik region were Slovene
diplomatic representatives and local business people and
politicians.
