ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament resumed a session on
Tuesday with a brief discussion on the proposed ratification of a loan
agreement with the European Investment Bank for completion of a motorway, which
is supported by all parliamentary parties.Under the agreement, the European Investment Bank would provide a loan
of 45 million euros to co-finance the construction of the remaining 29
kilometres of the motorway running from Zagreb to the easternmost town of
Lipovac on the border with Serbia.
The agreement provides for a grace period of 5 and 1/2 years and and a
repayment period of 25 years.
The session proceeded with a debate on a set of energy laws.
