The said law stipulates that the amendments aimed at increasing budgetary expenditure could be adopted if the reduction of other expenditures are proposed at the same time.
The sponsor of the amendments must take into account that such motions do not burden budgetary reserves or cause new debts.
Amendments moved by deputies of the Croatian Democratic Union, a representative of national minorities. deputies of the Croatian Party of Rights and the Croatian Social Democratic Party will not be considered because they are not in line with the regulations stated above.
The government will voice their opinion on the 2005 state budget and amendments later today, while parliament will discuss it tomorrow.
