Finance Minister Ivan Suker expressed satisfaction with the national revenue which in the first six months was 45 % of the amount planned for this year.
"We are more than satisfied with the national revenue in the first ten months of 2004," Suker said.
He stressed that in the first half of this year, Gross Domestic Product increased by 3.8 percent and added that at the same time exports rose and imports went down.
In the first ten months of this year, the unemployment rate also went down from last year's 18.2 percent to 17.4 percent, while the results of this year's tourist season showed a 10 percent increase of revenue from tourism, Suker said.
