"We will work towards shedding light on the causes of the (recent)
unrest and discuss its consequences, as well as relations with the
UNMIK (UN Mission in Kosovo) in order to make them more effective,"
Rugova said.
Kosovo's independence is the fundamental question for all citizens of
Kosovo, Rugova said adding that the formal recognition of independence
would bring peace to the people of Kosovo.
He dismissed indications of possible changes to Kosovo's borders as
speculation with unforeseeable consequences and voiced optimism that
the current situation would be overcome.
