Vujanovic recalled the position of the Serbia-Montenegro Army was
clearly defined in the Kumanovo Agreement, under which the NATO-led
Kosovo Force (KFOR) peacekeepers are in charge of security in Kosovo.
He stressed the Serbia-Montenegro Army could be engaged in Kosovo only
with the consent of the U.N. Security Council and as part of KFOR and
the U.N. Mission to Kosovo, in accordance with Resolution 1244.
Vujanovic said the situation on the Montenegro-Kosovo border was
stable and that he did not expect refugees from Kosovo.
