Such activities constitute ethnic cleansing which must not continue
and that is why we came to Kosovo, Johnson told reporters after
meeting UN Civil Administrator in Kosovo Harri Holkeri.
The international peacekeeping forces in Kosovo (KFOR) will continue
investing maximum efforts to provide for security as in recent days,
the admiral said.
However, the citizens of Kosovo will have to demonstrate
responsibility and respect the law, he added.
KFOR today launched a broad campaign to search for illegal weapons
which are still held by the residents of Mitrovica municipality.
