The ship was built by the "Loger" shipyard from Omis, according to blueprints from the archives of Dubrovnik's Maritime Museum and a design by Petar Dobric from Split. The investors are Bogomir Lukovic and the travel agency "Elite Travel" from Dubrovnik, which will use the galley for tourist purposes.
The 27-metre long and 7.5-metre wide ship was made of oak wood from Slavonia and Lika and it cost 600,000 euros.
A historical scene was re-enacted in the port as the ship was entering it, with participants in the entertainment programme wearing historical costumes.
