ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - About 13 million US dollars have been spent sofar for the modernisation of the biggest Croatian seaport of Rijeka.The funds are part of a USD 155-million loan which the World Bank hasapproved for the project
called Rijeka Gateway Project.
ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - About 13 million US dollars have been
spent so far for the modernisation of the biggest Croatian seaport of Rijeka.
The funds are part of a USD 155-million loan which the World Bank has approved
for the project called Rijeka Gateway Project. The figures were
presented at a news conference in Rijeka, which was held on Wednesday two days
before an announced visit of World Bank officials to the city. They are
expected to review the implementation of the project.
One-hundred million US dollars are to be spent for the construction of
access roads, while the remaining 55 millions will go for the upgrading of the
port itself.
