This is the second of four ships for the transport of wagons across the Caspian Sea which Uljanik is building for the Russian company Mir.
Mesic said that he and Magomedov had agreed on cooperation in all areas, notably in shipbuilding.
After talks with the Uljanik management, Mesic told the press Croatia must draw up a strategy for the development of the economy and only then start with the privatisation of shipyards.
Uljanik CEO Karlo Radolovic said the government must adopt a programme in cooperation with the European Commission so as to prepare Croatian shipyards to survive in the EU.
