SplitSPLIT, May 15 (Hina) - According to preliminary results which the cityelection commission released for the Adriatic resort of Split, thecoalition of the SDP-HNS-HSU-HSS won 28.94 percent of votes whichmeans that this coalition will have nine councillors in the city'scouncil.
SPLIT, May 15 (Hina) - According to preliminary results which the city election commission released for the Adriatic resort of Split, the coalition of the SDP-HNS-HSU-HSS won 28.94 percent of votes which means that this coalition will have nine councillors in the city's council.

The second-placed is the HDZ slate with 19.84 percent (six seats in the council).

It is followed by the slate led by independent candidate Zeljko Jerkov with 14.47 percent (five seats).

The coalition of the right-wing parties HCSP, HB, HDRS and HD wons three seats (9.50 percent of votes), and the HSP passed the threshold winning 5.18 percent as well as a list of independent candidate Slobiodan Beros (5.01 percent).

According to preliminary results for Split-Dalmatia County which has the 51-seat assembly, the colation led by the SDP was in the lead. The second-placed was the HDZ.
