ZadarZADAR, May 15 (Hina) - According to preliminary results of theelections for the Zadar City Council, issued by the city electioncommission on Sunday evening, the HDZ-HSLS-HKDU coalition slate wonthe majority of votes (33 percent)
while the SDP-HNS-HSS-LS coalitionwon 31 percent of the vote.
ZADAR, May 15 (Hina) - According to preliminary results of the
elections for the Zadar City Council, issued by the city election commission on
Sunday evening, the HDZ-HSLS-HKDU coalition slate won the majority of votes
(33 percent) while the SDP-HNS-HSS-LS coalition won 31 percent of the vote. According to the results, both slates won 11 seats each of the total of
27 seats in the city council.
The HSP slate came third with 8.5 percent of the vote, winning three
seats. The independent slate of Drazen Grgurovic follows with 6.6 percent and
two seats in the council.
The city election commission has so far precessed 10,095 votes.
The County Electoral Commission has not yet reported the preliminary
results.
