Spevec branded the announcement as an unlawful agreement among entrepreneurs which she said should be punished.
She said that no association could do that.
Determining prices is the matter of each individual entrepreneur, and the Croatian Competition Agency has possibilities for punishing associations.
Zitozajednica, an association of wholesale grain traders and bakeries, on Thursday said prices of some bakery products would go up between three and six percent.
On Friday, Zitozajednica said that its members made no deal about raising bread prices.
The association's director Nada Barisic said today that each company decided on its own about price corrections.
"There is no agreement on the joint price rise, as every company will make the decision for itself," Barisic said in a comment on Spevec's announcement of sanctions.
Barisic said that some companies would increase prices and some would not.
The announcement of bakery products' price rise triggered off resentment among trade union federations.
