Croatia is the first central and southeastern European country to start broadcasting digital radio signals on the medium wave-length.
In this way, Glas Hrvatske (The Voice of Croatia) can be received in the entire central and southeastern Europe at the frequency of 594 kilo-Hertz.
Croatia has joined a group of countries such as Great Britain, Germany, France, Luxembourg and the Vatican which transmit medium-wave digital signals.
Twelve million kuna have been invested in this project of introducing DRM - Digital Radio Mondiale, while a total of 230 million kuna have been invested in the upgrading of the entire national network of transmitters.
