Speaking to the press after the meeting, Pirinski underlined that Bulgaria was willing to share its experience with Croatia.
Seks said "Bulgaria's experience will be valuable to Croatia... We are very interested in using parliamentary cooperation to make Croatia-Bulgaria ties closer and more successful".
Seks said Pirinski's visit was one more step in the "further development of excellent political relations".
The Bulgarian official said the two countries had a good foundation to develop relations, also thanks to the friendship of the two peoples. He said the goal was to "build bilateral relations in the context of the European and Euro-Atlantic community".
Bulgaria is expected to join the European Union on 1 January 2007. It became a NATO member in 2004.
The Bulgarian parliamentary delegation was also received by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
