ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - Dubrovnik will host a conference called
"Southeast Europe: Unfinished Business" on June 24-26, organised by the
Croatian parliament and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the chief of the
Croatian parliamentary delegation in the Assembly, Kresimir Cosic, said on
Thursday. The event will gather about 150 participants, mainly
parliamentarians from NATO member and associate countries.
According to Cosic, they are scheduled to discuss the future of Kosovo,
the progress of US-Adriatic Charter countries (Croatia, Albania, Macedonia),
energy security and border security, given that Croatia is on the Balkan route,
where illegal trade generates hundreds of millions of dollars every year, of
which 40%, according to NATO estimates, goes for terrorism.
