The high number of Croatians who took part in the antifascist coalition in World War Two places Croatia among the victors in that war, the note read, adding that today Croatia and the whole Europe rested on the legacy of the antifascist struggle and on the distancing from every form of totalitarianism, radicalism and extremism.
The 1990s Homeland War in which Croatia won indicated once more that Croatia shares the same values of the freedom-loving and democratic peoples of Europe and the world, the note said.
