OSIJEK, April 2 (Hina) - The Osijek Municipal Court has rejected a
suit lodged by Branimir Glavas against Osijek County Police Department chief
Vladimir Faber and another two police officers, accusing them of having
tampered with evidence. The court explained that the lawyer who
lodged the charges had not been properly authorised by Glavas.
Glavas's defence team on Monday appealed against the court's
decision.
Glavas believes that the police chief and the two policemen - Dinko
Peric and Vjekoslav Tapsani - asked a witness in a war crimes investigation
against him to give a false testimony.
