The 11th session will resume on 3 June with a debate on the Probation Bill, which has been brought into line with European Union standards.
Before the completion of today's session, members of parliament voted on a dozen of items, including an agreement on Croatian police engagement in the European Union rule of law (EULEX) mission in Kosovo.
The agreement provides for the initial deployment of one Croatian police officer, who will later be joined by another three officers.
Interior Ministry State Secretary Ivica Buconjic said that the participation of Croatian police officers proves that the police and the Interior Ministry had passed a great path towards their professionalisation.
In this context he mentioned that a total of 14 Croatian police officers were taking part in five international peace missions.
The agreement with Slovakia on readmission of illegal immigrants was endorsed as well as bilateral agreements with Macedonia and Albania on mutual protection of classified data.
The parliament adopted a law on biofuel for transport as a measure to encourage biofuel production and consumption in the country in accordance with European standards.
The law on Croatian Homeland War veterans' entitlements was amended to prevent misuse of benefits, including exemption from the payment of taxes and customs, by war veterans and their families when importing cars or orthopaedic instruments.
