ZAGREB, June 13
(Hina) - Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak, who heads
Croatia's team in the ongoing negotiations with Hungary's MOL on the
future management of the biggest Croatian oil and gas company INA,
said on Friday that the confirmation of the guilty verdict against
former Prime Minister Ivo Sanader for the bribes he took from MOL to
secure for it majority management rights in INA, showed that Croatia's
interests were not safeguarded during the sale of INA's shares to the
Hungarian company.
