Cottons from this origin have continued to be offered at relatively attractive price levels for shipment from January onwards. Many spinners continue to want to add to their central Asian purchasing commitments but customary sellers seem unwilling to match their price ideas and business is thus relatively small. No significant interest has been discerned in U.S. styles in European markets outside of Turkey, despite asking prices now looking more attractive following the decline in New York cotton futures. 101012 MET dec 97
