GENEVA, Nov 29 (Hina) - According to Croatian radio, during the Geneva
negotiations President Tudjman said that Croatia accepts negotiations on
the proposed basis, i.e. "modus vivendi" for UNPA's in Croatia, but it
requests the guarantees from the European Community (EC) for the
implementation and terms of the implementation.
Muslim leader Izetbegovic is persisting on humanitarian aid delivery
and protection of convoys. He is not withdrawing his territorial
requests.
Karadzic said that the proposal is a "new approach" towards the
peaceful resolution and requested for immediate lifting of the sanctions
against Serbia and Montenegro.
Serbian President Milosevic said that the proposal is "interesting".
A plenary meeting is expected to begin in the afternoon under the
chairmanship of Belgian Minister Cleas.
