ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - "Considering statements by Serb and Moslem
representatives, it's very hard to be optimistic," Croatian President
Franjo Tudjman told reporters before leaving for Geneva on Monday
morning to attend talks sponsored by EC foreign ministers on solving the
crisis in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Mr Tudjman told Croatian Television that "the European Community is
most likely to make them (Serb and Moslem representatives) take some
steps at least."
"It is obvious that the EC Ministerial Council wants to achieve certain
results," said the Croatian president, recalling that US and Russian
envoys were also invited to attend the talks.
