REPORT ON BATTLEFIELDS OF HERZEG-BOSNIA

MOSTAR, Nov 28 (Hina) - The Moslem-led Bosnian Army commenced an artillery-supported infantry attack on the areas of Gunjaca, Grabovci and Hodrovci on the Kiseljak battlefield (Central Bosnia) at about 04:30 hrs Sunday, reported the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna's (HR HB) Defence Ministry today. According to the same source, the units of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) forced the Moslem troops to withdraw in the counterattack. This morning's clashes left three Moslem soldiers dead, whereas one HVO member was wounded. The incursion of two large commando groups of the Moslem-dominated B-H Army behind the defence lines of the HVO units failed to be carried out during Sunday morning's fighting, said the same source. The defence lines on the Kiseljak battlefield remained under control of the HVO forces. The very centre of Vitez (Central Bosnia) was shelled last night, when the Moslem-led Bosnian Army fired some 30 rounds at this crisis area, said the same source. The shelling left no casualties, whereas considerable material damage was inflicted on the residential buildings. Armed provocations of the Moslem forces were reported from the Uskoplje (Gornji Vakuf)-Rama battlefield. The HVO elite units managed to destroy two reinforced dugouts of the enemy forces on this battlefield on Sunday morning, according to the Defence Ministry of HR HB. The Serb aggressors fired two mortar rounds at the positions of the HVO in the area of Hodovo, southern Herzegovina), at about 20:20 hrs Saturday. The Mostar crisis area saw quiet Sunday morning, according to the same report. The Serb aggressors, stationed in the occupied region of Markovic Polje, fired cannon projectiles at the civilian targets on the Orasje- Samac battlefield, northern Bosnia (the Bosnian Posavina on the right bank of the Sava River) last night. Last night's attacks of the Serb aggressors caused material losses.
