REPORT FROM BATTLEFIEDS IN HERZEG-BOSNIA

POSUSJE, Nov 23 (Hina) - Moslem forces attacked Croatian Defence Council (HVO) positions in the Gornji Vakuf area, central Bosnia, all day on Monday. HVO troops repelled all the attacks, said the Herzeg-Bosnian Defence Ministry on Tuesday morning. Moslem forces attempted to insert two commando groups into the Trnovaca area. Two Moslem soldiers were killed near Rajac and more than ten near Trnovaca. Five HVO soldiers were reported wounded. Moslem troops opened small arms and sniper fire in the Rama area, northern Herzegovina. Intensified small arms fire was recorded along the confrontation line in Mostar. Moslem forces also opened mortar fire. No major combat activities were reported in the Vitez area last night. HVO troops in the Zepce area repulsed all Moslem attacks near Donje Brdo. One HVO soldier was killed and three were wounded, while at least 15 soldiers were reported killed on the Moslem side. 231231 MET nov 93
