HABENA: PROTEST TO BOUTROS GHALI BY CROATS FROM TRAVNIK

TRAVNIK, Nov 23 (HABENA/Hina) - Muslim forces opened occasional sniper fire an the Travnik area in the afternoon, the local HVO sources said according to HABENA. One person was wounded in Donje Puticevo, it also said. The report goes on to say that the representatives of the Travnik civilian and military administration and HDZ of Travnik have forwarded a letter to the UN Secretary General Boutros Boutros Ghali complaining of the growing number of murders of Croats in Travnik. According to the Travnik HVO sources "a dozen civilians have been killed so far, and four members of HVO have been wounded." The letter also lodges a protest with Ghali in reference to "such treatment of the Croats and seeks urgent aid for the local Croatian population, who are killed by the Muslim army and evicted from their homes."
