SITUATION ON BATTLEFIELDS IN CENTRAL BOSNIA

VITEZ, Nov 26 (Hina) - Muslim forces launched Friday morning a fierce infantry attack at Debelo Brdo from the direction of Zavidovici and at the villages of Fojnica and Bradici from the direction of Maglaj, said Hina correspondent from Vitez, central Bosnia. The Croatian Defence Council (HVO) brigade from Zepce said that the aim of the Muslim offensive was to link Zavidovici and Maglaj, northern Bosnia. Tens of howitzer and tank shells hit the area under the HVO control. Fighting is still going on. Muslim forces fired shells on Novi Travnik between 12:00 and 13:00 Friday. Numerous mortar shells were fired in the attack which left two civilians wounded. Vitez was repeatedly shelled in the afternoon. Two children were wounded in the center of the town.
