MOSTAR, Nov 27 (HBNA/Hina) - Department for human rights and
humanitarian issues of the Presidential office of the Croatian Republic
of Herzeg-Bosnia issued a statement on the violation of human rights of
Croats in Bugojno, the town under the Muslim control in central Bosnia,
reported HBNA.
Out of the number of 14,000 Croats, who lived in Bugojno before the
war, only 2,500 of them remained in the town. Their position is very
difficult, said the statement.
"Representatives of the ICRC visited Croatian prisoners in Bugojno two
times ( on September 1993 they registered 35 detainees and on 20 October
1993 registered 330 detainees)," said the statement.
