HR HB ON OFFENSIVE OF MOSLEM FORCES ON VARES $ ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - Vladimir Pogarcic, the head of the Department for the Human Rights at the Presidential Office of the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna (HR HB), gave his interview for the Croatian Television last night. He pointed out that "the units of the Moslem Army have not occupied the entire town of Vares and most parts of the outskirts." He added that according to the latest reports, received on Thursday evening, the soldiers of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) of Vares and of the "Bobovac" HVO unit fortified the defence lines, so that it could be expected that the enire town would not be seized, at least not until all the residents of Vares could be evacuated. Vladimir Pogarcic stressed that the attacks of on Vares were a part of the larger-scope offensive of the Moslem forces on those areas. "The town of Vares was copletely besieged, whereas the number of the Moslem attackers compared with the number of the defenders was virtually at a ratio of ten to one," emphasized the head of the Department for the Human Rights at the Presidential Office of the HR HB. In his last night's interview with the Croatian Television Vladimir Pogarcic said that all the bodies of the HR HB were undertaking necessary measures in order to accept a new influx of the displaced Bosnian Croats on the free territories of the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna.
