ZAGREB, Oct 5 (Hina) - UNHCR spokeswoman in Zagreb, Alemka
Lisinski, today said that the delivery of humanitarian aid to the
areas of Sarajevo and Bihac and enclaves in eastern Bosnia was
difficult.
The situation in the Bihac area is alarming because Serb
rebels from Croatia have not been allowing the passage of UNHCR
convoys over the areas they control, said Lisinski.
Bosnian Serbs today halted in Rogatica three convoys carrying
flour to Gorazde in order to search them.
A humanitarian convoy, which left this morning Belgrade for
Srebrenica, was stopped at the Bosnian-Serbian border in Zvornik,
said the spokeswoman.
The situation in Sarajevo is also very difficult because
Sarajevo airport has been closed for humanitarian flights, said the
source.
