ZAGREB, Aug 16 (Hina) - The Croatian police took the control over
all 19 crossing points today, said head of the Croatian Government
Office for relations with UNPROFOR Milivoj Tomas in a telephone
conversation with Hina.
He confirmed that displaced persons lifted a blockade of seven
remaining UNPROFOR check-points.
"Displaced persons are still on several crossing points, but
they cause no problems," said Tomas adding that they lifted a
blockade from most crossing points this morning, as it was agreed
with UNPROFOR.
Tomas said that UNPROFOR, when announcing a convoy, would
deliver a regular specification for petrol only.
The Croatian Association of Displaced Persons made a decision
on lifting a blockade from seven remaining UNPROFOR check-points at
a session on 12 August.
